Snake Eyes Backgammon

Terms of Use

Effective Date: September 5, 2026

Welcome to SnakeEyesBackgammon.com (“SnakeEyes,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SnakeEyesBackgammon.com, including its games, features, accounts, rankings, communications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. FREE-TO-PLAY SERVICE

SnakeEyesBackgammon.com is a free-to-play backgammon gaming and entertainment service.

No purchase, deposit, entry fee, wager, or payment is required to play. SnakeEyes does not offer real-money gambling or betting through the Service. Players do not wager money against SnakeEyes or other players, and game results do not entitle players to cash or other items of monetary value. Any points, rankings, ratings, achievements, statistics, badges, virtual items, or similar features offered through the Service are intended solely for entertainment and competitive ranking purposes and have no cash value unless we expressly state otherwise.

2. BACKGAMMON INVOLVES SKILL AND CHANCE

Backgammon involves elements of both skill and chance.

Dice rolls, game situations, opponent decisions, and other factors can affect game results. SnakeEyes makes no representation or guarantee concerning a player's likelihood of winning, losing, achieving a particular ranking, or obtaining any particular result.

3. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use interactive features of the Service.

If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. We may impose a higher minimum age in particular jurisdictions or for particular features where required by law. By creating an account, you represent that you meet the applicable eligibility requirements.

4. USER ACCOUNTS

Certain features may require an account.

You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials secure.

You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless the activity resulted from circumstances for which applicable law makes us responsible.

You may not:

  • create accounts using false or misleading identities;
  • impersonate another person;
  • sell, transfer, rent, or share accounts for improper purposes;
  • access another person's account without authorization;
  • create multiple accounts to manipulate rankings, ratings, matchmaking, promotions, or game outcomes; or
  • circumvent an account suspension, restriction, or ban.

You should notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

5. FAIR PLAY

Players are expected to compete fairly. Unless SnakeEyes expressly permits a particular feature, you may not use external software, artificial intelligence, backgammon engines, bots, scripts, automation, unauthorized assistance, or other tools to make decisions or play games on your behalf.

You may not engage in:

  • collusion between players;
  • coordinated manipulation of results;
  • rating or ranking manipulation;
  • intentional exploitation of bugs or software vulnerabilities;
  • unauthorized automated play;
  • account sharing for competitive advantage;
  • deliberate disconnections or other conduct intended to manipulate game outcomes;
  • harassment or intimidation of opponents; or
  • any other conduct that materially undermines fair competition.

SnakeEyes may use automated and manual methods to identify suspected cheating, abuse, or unusual gameplay patterns.

6. RANDOMNESS AND DICE

Where the Service generates virtual dice rolls, SnakeEyes intends those rolls to be generated by the game system without favoring particular players. Short-term sequences of unusual or unfavorable dice rolls can occur naturally in randomized games.

Except where required by law, SnakeEyes does not guarantee any particular distribution of dice results over an individual game, session, player account, or specified number of rolls.

7. USER CONDUCT

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • threaten, harass, abuse, or stalk another person;
  • post hateful, obscene, fraudulent, defamatory, or unlawful material;
  • spam other users;
  • distribute malware or malicious code;
  • attempt unauthorized access to our systems;
  • interfere with operation of the Service;
  • scrape or harvest information through unauthorized automated means;
  • reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it;
  • exploit vulnerabilities instead of reporting them to us; or
  • violate applicable law.

Competitive banter is permitted when reasonable, but threats, targeted harassment, discrimination, and abusive conduct are not.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Service, including its software, graphics, game interface, logos, trademarks, designs, text, databases, and other original content, is owned by or licensed to SnakeEyes and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

“SnakeEyes,” “SnakeEyes Backgammon,” “SnakeEyesBackgammon.com,” associated logos, and related branding may not be used in a manner suggesting affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement without permission.

Your use of the Service does not transfer ownership of any SnakeEyes intellectual property to you.

9. USER CONTENT

If the Service allows you to submit usernames, profile information, messages, comments, images, or other content (“User Content”), you retain ownership of rights you hold in that content.

You grant SnakeEyes a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit, and otherwise use User Content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, moderate, and improve the Service.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit your User Content.

Rankings, ratings, match histories, win/loss records, statistics, achievements, and other game information may occasionally contain errors or require correction. We may correct or recalculate game records, rankings, ratings, statistics, or results when reasonably necessary to address errors, cheating, manipulation, bugs, or other integrity issues.

12. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

SnakeEyes may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate an account when we reasonably believe that the user:

  • harassed or threatened another user;
  • manipulated rankings or results;
  • compromised the security or operation of the Service;
  • engaged in fraud or unlawful activity;
  • repeatedly created accounts to evade enforcement; or
  • created a material risk to SnakeEyes, its users, or the Service.

Depending on the circumstances, action may be temporary or permanent.

We may preserve relevant account and gameplay records when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or enforcement. Where appropriate, we may provide a method to request review of an enforcement decision. Users may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.
