Snake Eyes Backgammon

Community & Fair-Play Rules

SnakeEyes is competitive. Keep it fair.

1. PLAY YOUR OWN GAME

Unless expressly permitted by SnakeEyes, players may not use:

  • backgammon engines;
  • AI assistants;
  • move-recommendation software;
  • bots;
  • scripts;
  • automated players;
  • real-time outside assistance; or
  • another person to make decisions during a game.

Study tools may be used outside live games unless otherwise prohibited.

2. NO COLLUSION

Players may not cooperate to manipulate games, rankings, ratings, matchmaking, or other competitive results.

3. NO MULTI-ACCOUNT MANIPULATION

Creating or controlling multiple accounts to artificially influence ratings, rankings, statistics, matchmaking, or another player's results is prohibited.

4. DON'T EXPLOIT BUGS

If you discover a bug that could affect gameplay, rankings, accounts, or security, report it. Knowingly exploiting a bug for competitive advantage may result in correction of affected results and account action.

5. DON'T MANIPULATE CONNECTIONS

Intentionally disconnecting, delaying play, manipulating network behavior, or otherwise interfering with a match to obtain an advantage is prohibited.

6. RESPECT OTHER PLAYERS

Competitive play can get intense. Personal attacks do not improve your equity. Do not threaten, harass, stalk, discriminate against, or repeatedly abuse other players.

7. REPORT; DON'T RETALIATE

If you believe another player is cheating or violating the rules, use the available reporting process.

Do not threaten, harass, publicly expose personal information about, or attempt to retaliate against another user.

8. ENFORCEMENT

Depending on severity and history, violations may result in:

  • warnings;
  • chat restrictions;
  • removal or adjustment of ratings or statistics;
  • invalidation of games;
  • temporary account restrictions;
  • suspension; or
  • permanent account termination.

Serious cheating, security attacks, threats, or deliberate attempts to evade previous enforcement may result in immediate termination.
